I’m about to burst, but I know I can’t just pummel my way through this. I lean over and brush the hair from her face. “Look at me, pretty girl. Are you with me?” Not only do I need to know she’s okay, but there’s something about having her eyes on me when I take her. I want, fuck that, I need to know that she’s with me, every step of the way.
Finally, she peels her eyes open.
“Good girl. You okay?”
Her shocked look is long gone and in its place is a woman on a mission. She smiles at me and lifts her hips a little. “I’m good. I’m ready. You want to talk this out or are you going to take me?”
My heart starts thumping in my chest. I don’t know if I want to swat her ass or drive into her in one fluid motion. Unable to hold back another minute, I push in until I’m all the way inside her and a groan from both of us fills the air. I give her time to adjust to me, but when she starts to move her hips, it’s my undoing. I start to move then, a long, slow thrust that pushes her close to the edge and brings her back. Every muscle in my body is pulled tight as I try not to go off like a fire hydrant inside her. She’s all tight and wet, and her tiny little whimpers are my new favorite sound.
My movements must be too slow for her because she raises up on her elbows and looks at me defiantly. “I’m not going to break.”
She’s all fire and sass now, and I swear my balls tighten up a little more. “I don’t want to hurt you,” I confess to her, still taking it slow.
She blows a breath and pushes me to the side. I go easily but pull her with me until she’s straddling me. I try to hide how much I like this change of events, but I can’t. She reaches between us, positioning herself on top of me and then slams her hips down to mine. She moves in small little hip rotations, then up and down, leaning forward and backwards. She’s trying every angle, trying to see what’s best, and the whole time I’m counting backwards from a hundred, trying to make it without coming too soon and ruining it.
My hands on her hips, I help her, angling her backwards until I know I’m gliding right along her g spot. I put one hand on her clit and the other cups and massages her breast. She starts to bounce then and with each thrust, she’s getting tighter and wetter. “Yes, oh yeah, right there, don’t stop.”
I lift my hips, meeting her thrust for thrust, and when I feel her start to come, I piston my hips harder until we’re both grunting our orgasms, and then, with us both gasping for breath, she falls forward and curls into my chest. My arms go around her, holding her to me. I’m waiting on my heart to return to normal, but I also know that my life just changed forever.

Serenity
I’m crashed lying on his chest, and I know I should get up, but every time I try to move, to get off him, he holds on to me tighter. Finally, I lift my head, smiling at him. “I could stay here all night, but I know I’m squashing you.”
His forehead creases as he wraps his arms tighter around me. “You’re not squashing me. I like this and I’m afraid if I let you up, you’re going to rethink this, regret it maybe.”
I kiss his chest, right where his heart is. “Nope. No regrets, but I do have to use the bathroom.”
He groans as he slides his hands down my back and cups my ass, squeezing them. “Fine. I need to go too, but then back to bed.”
I try not to grimace as I lift off of him. My breath catches in my throat as I look at him. He’s big—even flaccid, he’s big. I blush brightly, pull a T-shirt off the dresser, and turn away as I put it on. He follows me into the bathroom, throwing the condom away, and then stretches his arms overhead as he walks out.
I smile after him, trying to keep my eyes off the hard muscles of his back. I take care of business and then walk out. He’s still naked and I try to look at anything except for the massive bulge between his legs. “You need to go before I take a shower?”
As he walks past me, he brushes a kiss across my forehead. When he walks in, I try to give him a little privacy, even though he didn’t close the door. But when I hear the shower turn on, I peek back inside. Peeking around the door, he’s testing the waters. “You showering?” I ask him.
He walks over to me and grabs my hand, tugging me toward him. “We’re showering. And then I’m taking you back to bed.”
He tests the water again and then pulls my T-shirt off and helps me in. It’s so awkward for me, and I tell him so. “I’ve never showered with someone else.”
He’s usually so gruff and controlling, but when he does give me a rare smile, I hold on to it. “Why are you smiling?”
He takes the loofah sponge I have hanging and squirts some soap on it. He runs it along my shoulders, my arms, across my belly. It’s as if he’s pondering my question and then finally he shrugs his shoulders. “I like being your firsts.” He continues to wash my hair and the way he’s touching me, caressing me, makes me feel that this is more than a one-night stand.
I take the sponge from the wall and wash his body from head to toe. He tries to pull me to him over and over, but I resist. I have one thing on my mind right now, and I don’t want to stop. I drop to my knees on the tile of the shower floor. Ignoring the hard texture under my knees, I reach for him. He must see my grimace, because he’s pulling me up by the arms and shutting the water off. “I was gonna—” I start, but he’s already tugging me out of the shower and drying me off. He stands on the mat dripping wet, but all his focus is on me.
He towel dries my hair and starts brushing it out. I look into his eyes, waiting for him to look at me. When he does, I get cold feet and clam up. “What is it?” he asks.
I look at the shower and back at him. “I was going to, uh, you know.”
He laughs. “Say it.”
I roll my eyes. “Fine. I was going to, you know, uh, suck”—I clear my throat—“your penis. Or at least try to.”
He shrugs his shoulders. “You were hurting your knees.”
“So, uh, you don’t want me to…”
I barely get the sentence out before he’s dropping the comb in the sink, putting his hands around my waist and holding me. “I’ll never take pleasure from you that causes you pain.”
Holy fuck, he’s so alpha and controlling. I should be turned off by it—I’ve been independent for more years than I can count—but there’s something about the way he is that has my whole body pulsating for his touch.
I bite my lower lip before sliding my hand across his chest, down his abdomen, and circle my palm around his hard shaft. “So you don’t want me to?”
He grunts and his hips flex toward my hand. My hold tightens on him as he seems to get even bigger.
He pries my hand open and pulls me to the bedroom. He lies down on the bed and pulls me up his body until I’m planted between his knees. “I want you, Serenity. There’s no doubt about it.” He fists himself, tugging from root to tip, and I watch as a drop of precum leaks onto his tip. Instinctively, I stick my tongue out to taste him. And one taste is not enough. I pleasure him, taking him as far down my throat as I can before releasing him. Over and over, until I’m soaking wet again and he’s about to explode.
When his balls tighten under my hand, he pulls me up his body. “I’m clean. I promise I’m clean.”
“Me too,” I say then roll my eyes. Of course I’m clean, duh.
He crunches his stomach as if he’s in pain. “I want to be in you bare… nothing between us. Will you get on the pill this week?”
I stare back at him, nodding my head.
He leans up, kissing me until my toes curl. “Is that a yes, Serenity?”
With swollen lips, I answer him. “Yes.”
No sooner are the words out of my mouth than he has me on my back, has sheathed himself and is pushing inside me. He makes sure I’m okay, and although I’m a little sore, I’ll never tell him because I don’t want him to stop.
He completely fills me and when we both climax, I can’t help but wonder what’s going to happen now. He’s lying next to me, his arms and legs around me and ho
lding me tight. This is all new to me, but surely it’s not always like this. I can’t help but think this is special. Right?
Dusty
It was a long night and I barely got any sleep. Even now, I know I’ll never get enough of Serenity. She woke me again for sex, but I put a stop to that, because I knew she was sore and trying to hide it from me. I used my tongue and gave her two more orgasms before I curled my arms around her. With the sun peeking in the windows, I know I should get up. But I really don’t want to.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
I nudge her with my hand, hating to wake her. “Hey, there’s someone at the door. You expecting anyone?”
She opens her eyes and looks at the clock. “Shoot, I’m going to be late.” She sits up and then, realizing she’s naked, she pulls the sheet up to cover her. “It’s probably Jason,” she says around a yawn.
“Jason. Who the fuck is Jason?” I demand more roughly than I probably should. I get out of bed and start tugging on my pants from the night before. Already, my body is tense and I’m ready for a fight. Who is this Jason and why does he think it’s okay to knock on her door at six-thirty in the morning?
She’s all leisure-like and I try not to get distracted as she covers her pretty body with a T-shirt. “He’s my neighbor and he works in the offices next door to the restaurant. He gave me a ride to work last week when my car was in the shop and he’s been asking if I need a ride since then. He probably thinks I work the morning shift.”
The doorbell rings this time and she sighs before walking away. I don’t let her get far. “You’re not answering the door like that.” I take in her T-shirt and too-short shorts, her rumpled hair, and while she’s so damn fuckable looking right now, he’s not going to get to see it. “I’ll get rid of him.” Her mouth drops but I don’t care; I walk past her. I know I shouldn’t ask, but a part of me needs to know. With my hand gripping the doorway, I ask her, “Unless you want him to stick around. I mean if you like him?” I’m never insecure, but right now, I’m not even breathing, waiting for her to answer.
Her face tightens and turns a dark red. “Really, you’re going to ask me that… after last night?”
Fuck! I’ve pissed her off now, and I may not know her well, but I do know her well enough to know she’s not going to sleep with one man if she likes another. It looks like I’m going to have some groveling to do.
The doorbell rings again and I walk from the room, stalking to the front door.
I pull it open, not knowing what to expect about who the person is on the other side. The man is dressed in a suit and his BMW is parked in the driveway. He’s arrogant. I can tell by the way he raises his nose at me when I open the door.
I puff my chest out at him. I’m sure he has no doubt what I’m doing here. My pants unbuttoned, no shirt, fuck, I may even turn to let him see the scratch marks on my back for good measure. “Yeah?” I ask him.
He clears his throat. “I’m here to see Serenity.”
I cross my arms over my chest. “Oh yeah, she can’t come to the door right now. Is there something I can help you with?”
He pushes his glasses up his nose. “No, I was just checking to see if she needed a ride into work.”
I almost feel sorry for the dude as I slap him on the shoulder. “No, she’s good. If she needs a ride from now on, I got it. Thank you though.”
I shut the door in his face and go back to search for Serenity to ask for forgiveness. I follow the sound of the shower running and she’s in the bathroom in the hallway instead of hers. Did she think she could avoid me? That’s a laugh.
I open the bathroom door, stripping off my pants on the way. When I slide the glass door open, I can tell she’s mad. “I left the other bathroom open for you to use.”
I walk into the shower and under the hot spray. “Well, that’s the thing, I sort of like showering with you.”
I take the sponge from her hand and take up where she left off, washing her curvy body. She grabs on to me and stops my movement. “I’m not easy. I don’t just have men, ya know…”
I shake my head and could kick myself for making her think I thought that about her. “I know. I just got a little insecure for a minute. I don’t like other men knocking on your door.”
She rolls her eyes and tries to turn away, but I grip on to her waist. “I’m sorry. I know you’re not easy. I know that other men are going to want you… and I’ll have to deal with that. But I don’t have to like it.”
She searches my eyes. “Dusty, we just met. It was one night; you don’t have to…”
I kiss her then. I have a whole lot to say to her, but I don’t know if she’s ready to hear it. When I pull back, I tell her, “I told you last night one night wouldn’t be enough. I’m going to make you mine, Serenity.”
She softens against me then and so I spend the next hour showing her exactly what I’m feeling toward her.

Serenity
It’s been two weeks since I first started dating Dusty. Well, not so much dating as having him over to my house because I’m not a fan of all the prying eyes. We’ve gone out to dinner and a movie, but after I saw myself on the cover of a tabloid with Dusty and the tagline, “What not to wear,” I’ve done my best to keep our relationship indoors.
He wraps his arms around my waist and whispers in my ear, “I wish you would have let me take you out.”
I turn and reach up on my tiptoes to kiss him. “You don’t like my cooking?”
He laughs and pinches the nonexistent fat at his belly. “You know I do. I think I’ve put on ten pounds because I like it so much. But I could have taken you and Casey out tonight. You didn’t need to cook for my sister, too.”
I shrug and walk away to the refrigerator to grab the salad. I could stay in his arms all night, but I know he’ll know something is up if he looks too closely at me. Dusty has proven to be the perfect boyfriend. Any free time he has, he’s here with me. And even when he’s away on games, he still makes sure to call me every night. The only thing that I haven’t been able to get past is all the public scrutiny. I knew he was a baseball player, but I hadn’t realized that he was as popular as he seems to be. We can’t go anywhere without someone taking our picture.
Dusty crowds against me again but luckily I’m saved by the doorbell. “That must be your sister.”
He grabs on to my hand. “Yep, let’s go. I can’t wait for her to meet you.”
Dinner with Dusty and Casey is comical in a way. He’s a big, burly badass, but his sister seems to keep him in line, keep him humble. We’ve already eaten the steaks, baked potatoes and salad. Now I set the peanut butter pie on the table between us before serving them both thick slices.
Casey takes a bite and moans, pointing with her fork to her plate. “This is good. So tell me, Serenity, are you going to continue to waitress or are you working to become a chef?”
Flattered, I blush at her praise. “I’m glad you like it. Uh, actually”—I look at Dusty and then back to Casey—“I was pursuing my degree in psychology before I ran out of fuel to finish. I want to get back in school, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.”
I of course don’t tell them the whole story. I was having trouble paying for school, and I had just bought my house. I didn’t want to give it up, it’s sort of become my pride and joy, so instead, I took the summer off from school and am saving to go back. I almost have enough to pay for my last year.
“I didn’t know that.” Dusty looks at me quizzically.
I just shrug my shoulders and take another bite of pie before I steer the conversation back to Casey. “So what about you? What do you do?”
Dusty
I sit back in my chair and watch my girlfriend and my sister become friends. I wasn’t nervous about tonight, but I could tell Serenity was. But I knew Casey would love her, especially when I told her how much she meant to me.
After what seems like forever, Casey leaves and I’m happy to have Serenity to myself.
I pull her onto my lap and when she lies back in my arms, I ask her if she wants to hear about how I became a baseball player.
“Yes. Of course I do.” She trails her fingers up and down my arm and I try to concentrate.
I haven’t shared much with people about my road to becoming a major league baseball player, but I find that I want to tell Serenity about it. I tell her about my dad taking me to all my practices and lessons, sometimes an hour driving time each way. I told her how I got drafted straight out of high school and it was the best feeling I’ve ever known. She’s an amazing listener and the way she just overflows with joy for me when I tell her how I made my dreams come true makes me want hers to come true for her too.
“Why’d you quit school, Serenity?” I ask her quietly.
She blows out a breath. “Well, it was money reasons at first. I had just bought this place with my inheritance. I didn’t want to go into debt for school, so I took some time off to save money. I’ve almost got enough for my final year, so I might go back.”
“Might? Why do you say might?”
She rests her head on my chest and I can hear sadness in her voice. “I don’t know. Is it ridiculous? Me wanting to be a counselor? I love helping people, but what if I can’t do it? What if I’m not good at it?”
I pull her up a little and twist to the side so she falls back more and we’re able to look at each other. “You would be perfect at anything you decide you want to do. If that’s your dream, you should do it. It’s your life. Don’t let anyone else make you feel that you’re not good enough.”
My words must hit home with her, because instead of sadness, her face fills with pride. She runs her hand up and down my chest. “I’ve never had anyone believe in me the way you do.”
